About the Founder
As a chronic sinusitis and eczema sufferer, Founder, Connie Ng has enjoyed the relief and natural healing benefits of undergoing Halotherapy (Dry Salt Therapy) treatment sessions. When a serendipitous opportunity came for her to purchase a Salt Therapy Cabin, she decided to do so mainly for her own healing but also to keep Halotherapy as an alternative treatment alive in Canberra. As a Businesswoman whom is increasingly embracing a more spiritual lifestyle on her personal journey where she has started to meditate regularly, she felt that it was a natural progression to add Health and Wellness into her repertoire of businesses that incorporates Mind, Body and Spirit.
Key Areas of Focus:
Respiratory | Dermatology | Sports Recovery | Relaxation | Natural Therapy
The Salt Therapy Clinic & Sanctuary is currently the only Halotherapy clinic in Canberra.
Halotherapy may influence & benefit:
Respiratory Health | Skin Health | Overall Immune Health | Mental & Emotional Acuity | Cardiovascular Health | Athletic Performance | General Wellness | Stress Reduction
Connie is very keen to create awareness and share the natural healing benefits of Halotherapy to assist a wide range of people within the Canberra community. This includes athletes, children, the elderly, wellness practitioners and people suffering from respiratory and skin conditions or undergoing mental stress. She can relate to these people and understands how that can be very emotionally debilitating, which impacts on one’s general wellness and the overall quality of life.
The Salt Therapy Clinic & Sanctuary is a proud Executive Member of both International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) and World Halotherapy Association (WHA). Connie liaises closely with the WHA founder and Physician, Dr. Cindy Hollenbeck to ensure that she is kept abreast with industry knowledge about Halotherapy backed by up-to-date scientific and clinical research . She remains active within the Halotherapy professional network in Australia to incorporate best practices to her clinic.
“I’ve been suffering from severe eczema and psoriasis all my life. I have tried many different methods to ease the symptoms with little success. Connie recommended salt therapy to me and I have noticed significant improvements with just a few sessions. It’s also a great place to relax after a long day.”– J. Kung, IT Professional, Woden
